Our beautiful baby boy was born and was bright eyed with an apgar score of 9 at 1 minute. He did not cry and was very calm.
I was filled with feeling of euphoria and joy at our beautiful experience of giving birth (which, when I think of our birthing, I STILL feel). It took 7 hours (just one hour adrift from my visualisation!!), no comfort aids (not even a paracetamol) and no stitches.
I was up and about in no time, phoning family and friends. I certainly haven’t experienced any depression.
I am so enjoying my new baby - I am filled with overwhelming feelings of joy. I feel so proud that I birthed my baby in a completely natural (and optimum for him) way. My husband says that he treasures how involved he was in the birth of our son, especially when compared to the other dad’s we know who report feeling like a spare part.
We struggle to express the degree of gratitude we feel toward our HypnoBirthing Practitioner Marian. Words are not enough!
Our next baby will definitely be a HypnoBirthing baby!
